Come stay a while and share with us our rich tapestry of traditions, customs and culture that are the Cook Islands way of life. Indulge in the pleasure of Pacific food – listen to the strums of the ukulele, the beat of the drums or swing with the sway of dancing hips. Discover the great outdoors and fish, snorkel, dive, paddle and swim in a brilliant blue sea. Climb the magnificent peaks lush with native vegetations and alive with song birds. Or simply stroll through the pearly sands and stop awhile to look at the twinkling sunbeams on a white crested reef. Immerse and explore.

Rongohiva Watersports

Welcome aboard the 8.5-meter Gemini V-hull rigid inflatable speed boat Eturere, which means ‘shooting star’ in Cook Islands Maori. You will be riding in comfort as its twin 250-horsepower engines shoot you across the ocean. The boat meets NZ survey requirements for safety purposes. If you have the need for speed, then Rongohiva Watersports is the tour for you!

Experience the breath-taking view of Rarotonga’s mountains from the ocean aboard Eturere. There are a few stops along the coast that will allow you to capture stunning photographs of the island while the captain gives some interesting information about the area.

During whale season, Eturere is put into cruise mode for whale watching. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to view these majestic creatures and be among the breaching and fluke action of these stunning animals!

Leave Rongohiva Watersports with a smile on your face and captured memories!
